Mind Matter Mantra was thrilled to partner with Northwestern Mutual – Harlem to bring the Pathway to Prosperity: Wealth & Wellness event to life! A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, Be Morr, LLC and Empower Yourself Counseling, for their generous support and contributions.
This powerful event blended yoga, community, and meaningful conversations around self-care and mental well-being. It was an honor to share the panel with such inspiring voices—all committed to bridging the gap between wealth and wellness for a more balanced, empowered future.
Grateful for every moment and connection made. Here’s to creating more spaces where prosperity and wellness walk hand in hand.”
Mind Matter Mantra had the honor of curating a wellness event in collaboration with The Black Women’s Collective and Kai Wellness Collective, centered on mindfulness and self-care—two practices that are essential, yet too often not prioritized.
As Black women, we’ve been conditioned to view self-care as a luxury instead of a necessity. We’re celebrated for our strength and productivity, but made to feel guilt when we choose rest. The truth is: rest is our right. Self-care, as a Black woman, is a radical act of resistance.
This event created space to break that cycle—to slow down, reflect, and reclaim care without apology. I’m so grateful to have co-created a space that reminded us: we are worthy of rest simply because we exist.
